Hourly pay rate: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Location: 3585 S Camino Real Washington, UT 84780 (On-site) 

Schedule: Part-time

  • Saturday and Sunday
    • 8:00am - 4:00pm

At our Sunrise long-term Mental Health Residential Treatment Center, we blend clinical excellence with heart. Set against the serene backdrop of southern Utah, our campus offers a safe, home-like environment where girls and boys ages 12–17 can heal, grow, and thrive. 

  • Prepare 2 meals each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and staff.
  • Prepare mid-meal snacks, ensuring food is always readily available.
  • Assist in food preparation and storage. 
  • Oversee the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the kitchen.
  • Prepare food ahead of time for the following day's menu.
  • Collaborate with residential staff to serve meals in a timely manner.

What we are looking for:

  • Independent, skilled cooks who enjoy having an autonomous work environment.
  • People with a servant heart who enjoy having a purpose behind the food they make.
  • Skill in preparation of a variety of foods.
  • Ability to adapt to special dietary needs of the clients.
  • Comfortable working with adolescents in a treatment setting. 

Required:

  • Minimum of two years of cooking experience.
  • A current Food Handler's Permit, and a valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation.
