Position: Dietary Manager

Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill, a skilled nursing facility located in Pleasant Hill, MO, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team. Our Dietary Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents. Dietary Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the dietary department, including planning, organizing, and directing food service operations

  • Develop and implement menus, meal plans, and nutrition programs to meet the needs of our residents

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

  • Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and wait staff

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food, supplies, and equipment

  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among staff

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident care

Dietary Manager Requirements:

  • Experience in healthcare food service management

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Current Food Handler's Certification

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
