Job Description:

The IT Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving end-user training programs for internal and external software applications. This role supports organizational effectiveness by ensuring users can efficiently and effectively use software tools aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver end-user training for internal and external software applications, including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Workday

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive software application training curriculum aligned to business needs.

  • Develop course materials, user documentation, exercises, and skills assessments for new and existing applications.

  • Deliver training using a variety of methods (instructor-led, virtual, self-paced) and recommend optimal delivery approaches.

  • Create and manage training content within the Workday Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Coordinate training schedules and communicate plans with business and departmental stakeholders.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and implement continuous improvements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to stay informed on software updates, roadmaps, and changes.

  • Identify training tools, technologies, and external providers that enhance learning outcomes and organizational capability.

Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Education, or a related field.

  • Certification in Adult Learning Theory and Practices.

  • 4–6 years of experience in the IT industry, with 2–4 years in a direct IT or software training role.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering end-user software training programs.

  • Experience developing content for Workday Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Salesforce CRM.

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and course development techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise and desktop software applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess organizational training needs and develop supporting programs and materials.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $66,831.48 to $83,539.35 with a maximum of $100,247.22.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
