Job Duties:

Provide direct nursing care to students ranging from Pre-K to High School including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response

Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in accordance with state and district requirements.
Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for students with chronic or complex medical needs

Support students with a variety of medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizures, allergies, and mental‑health‑related health plans

Conduct state‑required screenings (vision, hearing, Scoliosis, and BMI) and submit required reports

Monitor communicable disease concerns and follow Arkansas Department of Health protocols

Collaborate with teachers, counselors, coaches, and administrators to support student wellness and participation in school activities

Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper storage, documentation, and compliance

Participate in crisis response, safety drills, and emergency preparedness planning

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student health needs

Provide health education to students and staff when appropriate

Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
