    School Vehicle Driver Position Description

    These bus driver positions are 10 months, 6 hours per day, available immediately.  The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Support Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.

     

    A school vehicle driver is responsible for transporting students to and from school in a safe and timely manner.  He/she must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Pennsylvania CDL license to drive a school bus including ‘S’ and ‘P’ endorsements, 20 hours of driver training, knowledge of Pennsylvania traffic laws, and the ability to operate 2-way radio communication.

    Completion of a successful interview is required along with meeting all local standards and requirements.

     

    The hourly rate of pay is $24.59/hr.
