Community Health Northwest Florida is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing medication counseling to patients, and supporting the healthcare team with pharmacological expertise. This role ensures compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations while delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, compound, and dispense prescribed medications accurately

  • Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, dosage, and drug interactions

  • Maintain pharmacy records and inventory in compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Perform drug utilization reviews and ensure accuracy of patient prescription records

  • Supervise pharmacy staff involved in packaging and labeling medications

  • Maintain pharmacy security, quality assurance procedures, and controlled substance compliance

  • Ensure accurate entry of prescription and patient data in pharmacy systems

  • Provide guidance and instruction to pharmacy interns and support staff

  • Assist with pharmacy coverage across locations when needed

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Florida Pharmacist License in good standing

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health setting

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
