About the Role:
The Roadway Worker Protection Trainer is responsible for training and testing Roadway Worker Protection to employees and contractors working on active railway rights-of-way on and through the construction work zone within defined limits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with On-Track Safety for Roadway Worker Protection
- Schedule the training of current and future employees
- Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
- Perform administrative duties associated with employee training. Schedule courses, facilities, and equipment to be used in the delivery of training courses. Process confirmations and document attendance. Develop, maintain, and track training records using an automated system. Produce reports and all training documents required by the Authority. Coordinate the development and use of multimedia methods in training
- As directed by the Authority, support other Authority employees’ contractors, consultants, and third-party contractors to meet their training requirements
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational values
- Uphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactions
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs
