    Description: Bedford School District is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Visually impaired to work 7 hours/day, 5 days a week.

    Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and innovative Teacher of the Visually impaired to join our Special Education Team. This position will provide direct instruction and will work closely with general education teachers to adapt curricula and ensure all classroom materials are accessible. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Education Programs tailored to each student's visual needs. Conduct functional vision assessments and provide consultation to parents and staff regarding the impact of visual impairment on learning.

    Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in special education with a focus on visual impairment. Valid state teaching certification in special education-visually impaired
