Internship Summary:

Bowers Advisors & Associates is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results oriented Interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our Ithaca team for Summer 2026!

Key Objectives:

• Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers� mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.
• Learn the tax process: information gathering, preparation, and completion.
• Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.
• Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Participate in firm outings and activities as able.

Qualifications:

• Active enrollment and a major in Accounting or Finance (Junior standing or above is preferred)
• Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
• Preferably pursuing the 150-credit hour academic requirement towards CPA eligibility
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Internship Location: This is an on-site internship opportunity- includes Tax Training Days.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00/hour
