This person is responsible to train all new hires within operations including all shifts and all temperature zones. Will also be responsible to train transfers and retrain associates not meeting their standards. Will operate as an extension of our management team and their core focus is to ensure new associates successfully meet the progressive performance schedule while aligning new employees with our KeHE culture.

 

This role requires a leader with safety know-how, warehouse acumen, and the ability to positively influence outcomes that drive results within the assigned department. He or she will work closely with the zone supervisor(s) and the operations team and provide support related to employee training

  • Work with zone supervisor to ensure new hires are provided with the same quality onboarding experience
  • Follow new hire trainer communication “script” and procedures
  • Foster a “safety culture” by engaging personnel at all levels and drive the success of safety initiatives
  • Promote a “clean as you work” mindset to maintain facility housekeeping efficiency
  • Promote the importance of “attendance” to maintain zone productivity efficiency
  • Promote the importance of “attitude” to maintain a safe and positive work environment
  • Train new associates following our Training Curriculum (SOP) by zone
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring completion of all training related tasks following the performance progression schedule through the completion of the training documents
  • Communicate all progress, risk or concerns to zone supervisor(s)
  • Complete SOP checklist with employee including performance progression schedule. Retrain employee as need to assist employee to achieve milestones.
  • Provide input to the employees 30/60/90 day review
  • Cross-train employee(s) in other areas as needed
  • May conduct other zone training as needed
  • While not conducting these duties, employee will assist the warehouse operations with other responsibilities
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Complete KeHE Train the Trainer courses and ongoing training.
  • Some computer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and work in multiple temperature zones.
  • May require travel to other DC’s.
  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Contribute and support to the overall goals of the Operations Department.

  • Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts. 6. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
