Role Summary
The Network Engineer III will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in routing and switching, network security, firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, and data & voice technologies, ensuring high availability and performance of critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support Routing & Switching (LAN/WAN) environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot network firewalls including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or similar platforms.
- Configure and maintain Load Balancers such as F5, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), or equivalent.
- Implement and support network security controls, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access policies.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions to ensure optimal connectivity and performance.
- Support Data and Voice networks, including Unified Communications (UC), Collaboration tools, and VoIP systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for complex network issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and client requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
- Experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA).
- Hands-on experience with Load Balancers (F5, Citrix ADC/NetScaler).
- Solid understanding of network security principles and implementations.
- Experience working with SD-WAN solutions.
- Knowledge of Data & Voice networks, including VoIP, UC, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
