    West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of a Summer Intern for the Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery, setup, and installation of new computer hardware at multiple schools. Load software and perform system updates on school computers. Works under the direction of the IT Staff at multiple schools. Other duties as required. 

    Requirements:
    High School graduate preferred. Basic knowledge of current operating systems and peripherals. Familiarity with PC components. PC and printer installation experience preferred. Ability to lift, unpack, and set up computers, printers, and other similar hardware. A valid motor vehicle license is required as regular travel between schools is necessary. 

    Starting at $20 per hour, up to 35 hours per week for approximately 8 weeks.
