Forklift Operator | Part-Time | $21.54/Hour 

Mississauga, ON – Evening Shift

Monday to Friday | 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Cardinal Couriers is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our Hamilton Operations team. This role involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, weight verification, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This is a physically demanding position in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities.

• Organize and secure materials, such as boxes, pallets, and super stacks in a safe way.

• Pick orders from inventory using a pick sheet, monitor and maintain inventory.

• Load and unload freight from trailers and dock areas.

• Scan and weigh freight.

• Ensure freight is properly secured and damage-free.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Pre-trip Forklift inspection at start of each shift and hand in inspection sheet end of shift to supervisor

• Report on equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.  Perform quality checks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of driving Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs., including scanning and weight verification.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Own a pair of safety boots.
• Experience with staging, loading, and unloading trailers.

• Team player with a professional attitude & have positive relations with customers and colleagues.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
