Job Description

POSITION
SUMMARY: 
The
Tech is responsible for supervising the operations of Assisi Bridge House in
the absence of regular staff. The Techs ensure that the ABH schedule is
followed, that rules are followed and to respond to any emergencies.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

A.    Report
on residents’ compliance with the rules and regulations.

B.    Be
available to residents in time of need.

C.    Maintain
daily reports about residents to the staff.

D.    Participate
in tech meetings.

E.    Transport
residents to scheduled AA and NA meetings and other activities.

F.     Assist
residents to progress through their recovery program.

G.    Conduct
drug screening and document results

H.    Observe
clients taking medication and document in the medication log

I.      Assist
staff with other program or administrative duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
TO PERFORM THE JOB SUCCESSFULLY:

Education
and/or Experience:
Must
be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent. If in
recovery, a minimum of one year sobriety is recommended. Exceptions may be made
upon consideration of the director and executive director of Assisi Bridge
House.

Driver’s License.

Requirements:

The
Assisi Bridge House and Independent Living Program deal with many confidential
matters. All employees of ABH and ILP must maintain strict confidentiality at
all times.

 Breach
of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
