We are looking for reliable and motivated Security Officers for part-time and on-call / casual opportunities at a large shopping mall in West Vancouver.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Shift Times: Afternoon and Overnight Shifts    

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service
• Monitor all systems to ensure safety and access policies
• Attend and investigate security alarms in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
• De-escalate emergency situations
• Write clear and detailed reports
• Utilize two-way radios to communicate site activities
• And more!

Requirements:     

• Valid BC Security License
• Prior work experience in the security industry
• Prior experience working in customer service is an asset
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent customer service, active listening, and observational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physical ability to complete the duties of the job, including but not limited to standing and walking for the majority of your shift
