Job Description

This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Software Developer for the POWER Testing and Energization Division.  The Software Development team is responsible for developing applications that support design and engineering efforts. This position would collaborate with other team members to provide custom solutions for our business.

Your Impact

  • Develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Analyze code to find root causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Perform audits and implement security best practices

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or management information systems from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience with .Net, Python, Smartsheet Development
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and initiative to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship

     

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSS, JavaScript
  • Visual Studio, MS SQL Server
  • Up to 3 years of experience
