Fundraiser - $20/hr Guaranteed - Flexible for Actors & Creatives - New Jersey (North Jersey Field Teams)
We’re hiring fundraisers in New Jersey to represent major nonprofit organizations working on humanitarian, environmental, and social justice campaigns.
This role is especially popular with actors, comedians, musicians, dancers, writers, and other creatives. It offers a stable hourly income while leaving room for auditions, rehearsals, gigs, and creative work.
Many successful team members come from performing arts programs such as NYU, Rutgers University, Montclair State University, The New School, AMDA College of the Performing Arts, and other arts-focused training programs.
No experience is required - we’re looking for outgoing people who enjoy talking with others and building connections.

What the Job Involves
Our teams raise funds through face-to-face outreach with members of the public in high-traffic neighborhoods, community spaces, and outdoor areas throughout New Jersey.
Team members typically meet at designated North Jersey meetup locations each day before traveling together to assigned field sites.
Fundraisers speak with people about important nonprofit campaigns and invite them to become monthly supporters.

This is a face-to-face outreach role that involves speaking with members of the public throughout the day.

$20/hour guaranteed starting pay (not commission)

Availability Requirement
Team members are expected to commit to at least 3 full 7.5-hour shifts per week. Standard shifts run Monday to Sunday from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with some variation in weekend hours.
Many team members appreciate that this role can work well alongside auditions, rehearsals, creative projects, and freelance work.

Comfortable working outdoors and on their feet
Experience in performing arts, fundraising, sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, advocacy, volunteering, activism, or other public-facing roles is helpful - but not required.
