Job Description

Salary/Position Classification



  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

  • 5-12 hours per week

  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No

  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No


Purpose of Position


This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Assisting the North Dakota Law Review in substantive and grammatical editing of articles.


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Article editing

  • Gathering research material for citation verification

  • Creating editing charts and support materials for the North Dakota Law Review

  • Managing technical changes to articles prior to publishing


Minimum Requirements



  • Must possess excellent technical and editing skills

  • Must be interested in researching law subject matter

  • Must be planning to enroll in University of North Dakota Law Review for Fall 2026

  • Must have successfully completed courses on legal writing

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
