TITLE: Substitute Custodian
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma
2. Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned
3. Experience in cleaning of buildings
4. Ability to get along well with students
5. Such alternative qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO: Lead Custodian
JOB GOAL: To maintain the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all times
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains the school grounds.
- Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building.
- Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.
- Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.
- Performs emergency cleaning services as necessary.
- Performs such other tasks as may be assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Lifting, operating, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment. Position
Requires medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
