This is a part-time position expected to work 24 hours per week
The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Thursday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
SUMMARY: The Building Maintenance Supervisor leads a team responsible for the maintenance and care of the facilities while ensuring revenue operations and other support teams benefit from maintenance services. This position exemplifies customer service, works alongside of the team and leads by example.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains cleanliness and continued improvement of the hangar, supporting offices and public areas.
- Oversees building maintenance, custodial and floor support services for the campus.
- Coordinates and performs daily repair and preventive maintenance using approved procedures and completes all necessary documentation.
- Coordinates with leadership to develop weekend coverage and schedule changes.
- Organizes and prioritizes shift personnel resources to accomplish business goals.
- Supports, communicates, and implements company initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable safety requirements direct personnel and contractors. Actively looks for, reports, and corrects safety issues.
- Coordinates with Employee Health & Safety team on identifying issues and implementing proper resolution.
- Submits requisitions for tools, equipment, services and supplies for the Building Maintenance team.
- Manages and assists with various construction, electrical and mechanical projects.
- Maintains buildings to ensure it meets all government, local and safety requirements as well as adopted company standards.
- Arranges and coordinates necessary temporary shutdowns of building utilities or closure of space with appropriate personnel in affected areas.
- Works with vendors to obtain various quotes as well as pricing services.
- Participates in budget preparation with Site Services leadership and manages spending as required.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Provides on-call support.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years related experience with certified training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in building maintenance in an industrial setting.
- Experience working in an aerospace maintenance (MRO) facility preferred.
- Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC systems and controls experience preferred.
- Forklift/Manlift/Boomlift/Crane experience preferred.
- Applicable trade certifications preferred.
- Current Driver’s license required.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
The full base pay range for this position is $41 - $61 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
