    Position: Long-Term Substitute � Bilingual School Social Worker
    Dates: Approximately 9/18/2026 � 12/18/2026 (12 weeks)
    Pay: $250 per day

     

    Overview:
    We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English preferred) School Social Worker to serve in a long-term substitute role. This position provides social-emotional and behavioral support to students and collaborates closely with staff and families to promote student success.

     

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide individual and small group counseling
    • Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and attendance needs
    • Assist with MTSS, SEL, and PBIS implementation
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
    • Conduct observations and support behavior intervention planning
    • Connect families with community resources, including home visits as needed
    • Maintain appropriate documentation and service records

     

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Social Work
    • Illinois PEL with School Social Work Endorsement
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)

     

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to communicate effectively and perform essential job functions
    • Work involves walking, standing, talking, hearing, and using hands to perform tasks
    • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds as needed
