We are seeking a Production Manager  to join our team.  The Production Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the footwear division by maintaining products throughout the season from development to bulk production and will report to the Production Director. 


This role is 5 days a week onsite at our NYC Headquarters 


Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Sample management, tracking, and coordinating shipments with factories
  • Managing production and inventory spreadsheets as well as collecting and monitoring Time & Action charts to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
  • Managing cost sheets and achieving the company's margin goal
  • Must have production time manner experience with price negotiating
  • Following up with factories to obtain tracking numbers, delivery dates, production samples, and bulk production updates
  • Overseeing quality control for all merchandise
  • Forging and maintaining relationships with external factories and vendors
  • Work closely with the Design team and follow up sampling with factories
  • Issuing Purchase Order with correct information after review
  • Maintain production files that support all product record keeping

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • 3–5+ years of production planning or coordination experience in footwear, apparel, or consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage the full production lifecycle, from style setup through bulk production, PO issuance, and final shipment.
  • Experience working with overseas factories and managing production timelines through vessel booking is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with factories in China 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational and follow-up skills
  • Footwear experience preferred

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $85k-$95k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
