This individual supports the daily functions of the HR department, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. This position works Monday through Friday, providing support to all departments within JAG-K.

 

With our headquarters in Topeka, Kansas, JAG-K partners with Kansas schools to help students who are facing various challenges to be successful. We are a non-profit organization that offers an elective class to provide academic and other positive supports to ensure students earn their high school diploma. We have 121 programs located in 54 Kansas school districts and currently serve more than 5,500 students in Kansas and by educating students through career exploration opportunities and teaching soft skills, students are prepared to successfully transition to post-secondary education, military service, or into the workforce.

The Human Resources Generalist supports human resources functions including recruitment, retention, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, payroll, staff handbook, training and records retention. The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily functions of the HR Department.
