Andrean High School Additional Information: Show/Hide - Plan and coordinate school Masses, prayer services, reconciliation services, Eucharistic Adoration, and other liturgical celebrations throughout the academic year.
- Collaborate with clergy, music ministry, and student leaders in preparing meaningful liturgies.
- Coordinate student participation as lectors, altar servers, musicians, and Eucharistic ministers where appropriate.
- Promote opportunities for prayer and sacramental life within the school community.
- Plan and facilitate grade-level retreats that support students' spiritual growth and reflection.
- Coordinate and lead the school's Kairos retreat program (or equivalent senior retreat experience).
- Recruit and train student retreat leaders to assist with retreat planning and facilitation.
- Develop opportunities for student faith formation including small groups, Bible studies, and peer ministry programs.
- Support initiatives that strengthen the Catholic identity and faith life of the school.
- Recruit, train, and mentor student campus ministry leaders and peer ministers.
- Empower students to take active roles in prayer services, liturgies, retreats, and service initiatives.
- Support student-led faith-based clubs or organizations that foster spiritual growth and community.
- Serve as a visible and approachable pastoral presence within the school community.
- Offer spiritual guidance and accompaniment to students.
- Collaborate with counselors, faculty, and administration to support students' spiritual and emotional well-being.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage high school students and create meaningful faith experiences.
- Experience planning and facilitating Kairos retreats or similar peer-led retreat models.
- Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and sacramental preparation.
- Experience coordinating service-learning or service programs.
- Ability to mentor student leaders and foster peer ministry.
- Must successfully complete Diocesan Safe Environment training (e.g., VIRTUS or equivalent) prior to beginning work or within the required diocesan timeframe.
- Must pass all required background checks and diocesan child protection clearances.
- Commitment to maintaining all diocesan and school policies regarding the protection and safety of minors.

Position Overview
Andrean is seeking a faith-filled and mission-driven Campus Minister to lead and support the spiritual life of the school community.
The Campus Minister will foster a vibrant Catholic identity on campus by organizing liturgies and retreats, coordinating service opportunities, mentoring student leaders, and providing pastoral support to students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about accompanying teenagers in their faith journeys and helping them grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
