Duties

Provides leadership to subordinates and technical guidance to executive/management level representatives from the Military Services, DCMA, and other Government Agencies.,Ensure senior DCMA executives are kept informed of all military program goals, accomplishments, and challenges.,Analyze and share military manpower and other essential data to inform programmatic and customer-driven decisions.,Identify and resolve major military personnel challenges, and champion innovative methodologies and solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supervisory Military Personnel Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Managing multi-service force strength, analyzing personnel readiness data, and directing vacancy/assignment strategies for a complex organization. Interpreting, adjudicating, and advising executive leadership (O-6/GS-15 and above) on conflicting Service-specific (Army, Air Force, Navy) and Department of War personnel policies. Managing a blended workforce consisting of active-duty military members from various branches, federal civilians, and/or contractors. Serving as the primary technical liaison coordinating complex personnel actions and data discrepancies with major service personnel centers (e.g., Army HRC, Navy BUPERS, Air Force AFPC, or HQMC).

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
