ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet guests warmly, escorting them to their tables and offering assistance as needed.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and provide recommendations, including wine pairings and dietary options.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, noting special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Input orders promptly into the POS system and ensure timely delivery with kitchen and bar staff coordination.
  • Serve food and beverages with precision, maintaining high service standards and etiquette.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively for a seamless dining experience.
  • Regularly check in with guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Clear tables and reset for the next guests, keeping the dining area clean and organized.
  • Accurately process guest payments, handling cash and credit cards professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service and a positive work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including specials and promotions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills to handle payments and make change.
