Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a PA Cardiologist. This role functions as an integral member of the inpatient cardiology team, providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

Overview
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations on cardiology inpatients.
- Evaluate and manage patients with conditions including but not limited to:
- Acute coronary syndromes
- Decompensated heart failure
- Arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders
- Valvular heart disease
- Pericardial disease
- Hypertensive emergencies
- Develop and implement evidence-based management plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac imaging).
- Initiate and titrate cardiovascular medications.
- Perform daily rounds and document progress notes.
- Provide discharge planning, medication reconciliation, and follow-up coordination.

Qualifications:
- Degree: minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Doctor of Physician Assistant (DPA) is preferred
