Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team!

Requirements:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with resident dietary needs, physician orders, and nutritional guidelines

  • Ensure food quality, proper portioning, and timely meal service

  • Monitor food inventory levels and place supply orders as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work environment in compliance with health regulations

  • Supervise and provide guidance to dietary assistants as assigned

  • Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience cooking in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred

  • Strong understanding of dietary needs and food safety regulations

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
