Primary Purpose: To facilitate and lead content area teacher teams in the development and implementation of curriculum and assessments resulting in meaningful learning experiences for each student in District 303. Support the Learning and Teaching Department with curriculum and assessment development and implementation.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
● Supports implementation of new curriculum and adopted resources
● Provides coaching support to teachers implementing new curriculum and adopted
resources
● Keeps current with research-based practices and informs respective staff members of
major trends and current research in curriculum, instruction, and assessment
● Provide/support identified professional learning needs
● Ongoing collaboration with the district specialists
● Communicates progress on a regular basis with Learning and Teaching Department and
building administration
● Partner with the Director of Staff, Family & Student Services to provide parents an
opportunity to learn more about curricular changes and ways to better support their
student
● Utilize student performance on state and local assessments to drive data instrucftional
planning and supporting PLCs
● Support new teachers in understanding and implementing curriculum
● Serves as a planning and problem-solving resource for individuals and groups in buildings
● Identify opportunities for growth through the support and development of district
professional learning offerings
● Other duties as assigned by supervisor
