Job Description

WEBCO Manufacturing, in cooperation with the Kauffman Foundation, is excited to announce summer 2021 internship opportunities through the Real World Learning (RWL) Program. This internship will be approximately 5 weeks and is for students with the Olathe School District’s Advanced Technical Center program.

The internship will include a week in the front office, a week building a product on the shop floor, and approximately 3 weeks working in the department of interest on the shop floor. This will be a paid internship, and will offer the students an opportunity to get hands on experience in a metal manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

Excellent attendance

Willingness to follow all safety guidelines

Steel toed boots

Have a positive attitude

Willingness to learn

Maintain good housekeeping, clean area and equipment regularly, and assist in departments where needed

Be able to read and comprehend written work instructions and follow processes

Other responsibilities as required
