Company & Position Insights: The job of an Athletes Global After School Program Leader involves overseeing all procedures in a school program, as well as academic support and homework assistance. Depending on the institution or organization, the job of an after-school program leader may include moving supplies between locations, supervising programs, and implementing projects and activities, among others.
Education/Experience Requirements
A successful candidate must have 1 year of experience managing youth or after-school programs.
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills; effective leadership and management skills; organization and multi-tasking skills; proficiency in MS Office applications; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; and advanced knowledge in math, laws, and their application in an after-school setting.
Specific work elements
Major Duties and Responsibilities may include:
• Conduct regular site visits, including conducting instructor observations and providing timely feedback.
• Develop and maintain relationships with instructors
• Write weekly programmatic reports, provide program highlights, and make recommendations based on
findings
• Manage special initiatives and projects such as vendor fairs, etc.
• Ensure that all area programs meet AGC program quality expectations
• Other duties as assigned
Work Hours (Variable):
It varies depending on the programs that are running in the area
• Monday to Friday (8-15 hours weekly, depending on programs running) Experience:
• Youth Enrichment: 1 year (Required)
• Program Leadership: 1 year (Required)
• Account Management: 1 year (Required)
• Coaching Adults: 1 -2 years (preferred)

Hybrid (in-person at program sites, virtual for meetings and communication with the National Program Leader)
