This is more than a transactional accounting role. It’s a hands‑on, analytical position for accounting professionals who value precision, accountability, and collaboration, and who want to contribute meaningfully to a mission‑driven community bank.

If you enjoy working with complex financial data, improving processes, and partnering across teams to ensure accuracy and compliance, this role offers impactful work and continued professional growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform daily and monthly accounting close activities and prepare financial and management reports
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving reconciling items in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable and payable activity; provide backup support for accounts payable as needed
  • Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy
  • Safeguard the Bank’s funds through effective use of Positive Pay controls and monitoring
  • Prepare Call Report schedules and support regulatory reporting requirements
  • Partner with other departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial activity
  • Support the Controller and CFO with analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed
  • Perform all duties in compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and Bank policies

What success looks like:

  • Accurate, timely financial close and reconciliations
  • Reliable, well‑documented financial reports that support leadership decision‑making
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Effective collaboration with accounting leadership and cross‑functional partners
  • Consistent adherence to regulatory and internal control standards

We are seeking candidates who bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Three (3) or more years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior bank accounting or financial institution experience, preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of general ledger activity
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and priorities
  • Professional communication skills and respect for confidentiality
  • A collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience
  • Opportunity to work closely with accounting leadership and executive management
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting and higher‑level financial analysis
  • Supportive, team‑oriented culture
  • Robust benefits package
  • Long‑term stability with a community‑focused bank
