The Bone Densitometry Technician is a supplemental position working various days between Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday, between the hours of 7:30AM-4:00pm. This position location will vary throughout our Spokane, WA locations, depending on department need.
Summary: To obtain the safest and highest quality bone densitometry exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established Inland Imaging protocol.

- Performs Bone Densitometry exams
- Assist patients as needed to obtain quality exam
- Prepare exam room
- Maintain clean and stocked exam room
- Performs QA procedures per equipment manufacturer’s specifications
- Performs database backup per manufacture’s specifications
- Resolves exam exceptions in Imagecast
- Assist scheduling with determining appropriate bone density studies and location for exams
- Dictates Bone Densitometry findings for review by Radiologist
- Sign bone densitometry preliminary reports per the established procedure/protocol
- This position may be required to work in a hospital, urgent care or clinical setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical office setting with medical terminology is required
- Licensure: Must maintain current Washington State X-Ray Technician License
- Certifications: ISCD certification
- Current CPR/BLS required
- Continuing Education: Must acquire 35 continuing education credits every five years
- Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook; Kronos; Imagecast; Stentor; Web Portals
- Background Check:
- Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
- In order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging Clinical Associates, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
