About the position...
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of residential and commercial construction projects to include scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resource management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through construction and turnover.
- Develop project schedules, distribute to stakeholders, and manage as necessary to meet key milestones.
- Schedule and attend regular site visits to ensure safety, scope, and schedule compliance.
- Work with estimators, buyers, designers, and other project support to formulate estimates for business and project planning.
- Produce accurate quantity takeoffs from plans using takeoff software.
- Preliminary matching of invoices to Purchase Orders and apply proper cost codes to Field Purchase Order invoices.
What we are looking for from you...
- 5-10 years of commercial and residential construction project management experience is required.
- A strong understanding of modern construction methods and means is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS Outlook is required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is required.
- Experience with ground-up construction.
- Experience with construction management, estimating, and takeoff software is preferred.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
