Laboratory Technician – Bridgwater


Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation



  • 2 day shifts (7am–7pm)

  • 2 night shifts (7pm–7am)

  • Followed by 4 days off


Salary: £34,049.09 per annum

As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance operations, using your expertise to carry out testing, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement across the site.


 


What You’ll Be Doing:



  • Deliver accurate and timely quality testing and analysis

  • Support operational teams with quality control and troubleshooting

  • Contribute to building and maintaining our Quality Management System

  • Take ownership of monthly reports and performance metrics

  • Play a key role in internal and external audits

  • Champion best practices in lab organisation and hygiene


 


What We’re Looking For:



  • HACCP Awareness (Level 2–3)

  • Knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques

  • Experience with internal auditing

  • Problem-solving skills (Yellow/Green Belt, A3 methodology)

  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems

  • Background in dairy science is a plus
