Special Education Support Staff

At Prime Home DDS, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant, supportive learning environment for students aged 13–21. Our Level 3 school embraces a positive, inclusive approach tailored for students who thrive in specialized educational settings. We proudly serve individuals facing social, emotional, learning, and behavioral challenges within the Omaha Metro area.


What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking reliable, patient, and empathetic individuals who have experience working with children or young adults and can foster positive relationships. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.
  • Assist with community outings and school-based activities.
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and Individual Education Programs (IEP) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Participate in physical activities and assist with lifting materials (up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 40 lbs).


Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 19 years
  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass State and Federal background checks
  • CPR/First Aid and MANDT certification (training provided if needed)
  • Physical ability for frequent walking, standing, and lifting
  • Ability to read computer screens, hear speech at normal levels, and communicate clearly
