What You’ll Do
Data operations & QA/QC
- Enter various data types into the web-based system quickly and accurately;
- Run QA/QC checks to detect gaps, unit/timestamp mismatches, proper WITSML channel mapping, sensor dropouts, and outliers; follow procedures to correct issues.
- Review data and trends for accuracy/completeness; flag and resolve anomalies and problematic data.
- Ensure proper system operation through continuous checks; escalate and track incidents to closure.
Customer coordination
- Communicate with customers (RTOC/rig/engineering teams) to clarify discrepancies and resolve issues per agreed communication protocols.
- Prepare daily written reports covering operations status, QA/QC findings, and corrective actions.
- Build customer dashboards and support customers in building/maintaining their own dashboards.
Platform readiness & testing
- Provide testing of staged systems prior to deployment;
- Execute test plans, document defects, and validate fixes.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies in operations and data workflows.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and quick-start guides.
Ways of working
