Job Title: Senior iOS Mobile Tester

Location: Bangalore / Chennai

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Mobile Tester with at least 5 years of hands-on testing experience to independently conduct comprehensive testing activities for iOS applications. The role involves manual testing across multiple environments—including integration, SIT, and UAT—and non-functional testing such as performance, security, and usability assessments. The candidate will create detailed testing documentation, ensuring software quality, stability, and performance aligned with release standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute manual test cases for iOS mobile applications across various testing environments including integration, SIT, and UAT.

- Perform non-functional testing such as performance, security, usability, and compatibility testing on iOS devices and simulators.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and derive comprehensive test scenarios.

- Independently manage end-to-end testing activities, logging defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including test plans, test cases, test scripts, defect reports, and test summary reports.

- Coordinate testing activities with development and business teams to ensure timely delivery.

- Validate application performance, security, and usability to meet user expectations and compliance standards.

- Support release and deployment activities with thorough testing and sign-off documentation.

- Continuously improve testing processes, environments, and automation frameworks where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience as an iOS mobile tester, with hands-on manual testing expertise.

- Deep understanding of iOS platforms, device compatibility, UI/UX, and app deployment processes.

- Experience with testing tools like XCTest, Appium, or similar testing frameworks.

- Strong experience in testing across multiple environments: integration, SIT, and UAT.

- Knowledge of non-functional testing including performance, security, usability, and accessibility.

- Proficiency in creating, managing, and executing comprehensive testing documentation.

- Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or similar.

- Analytical mindset with strong defect tracking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with automation testing tools and scripting.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related testing integrations.

- Experience with API testing and testing under load.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative workflows.

- Awareness of security standards and compliance requirements for mobile apps.
