We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Powerline Helper to join our utility team. As a Powerline Helper, you will work alongside experienced linemen to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of power lines, ensuring reliable electrical service for our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist linemen in installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground power lines

- Handle and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites

- Set up safety barriers and warning signs to secure work areas

- Climb poles and work at heights under supervision, following safety protocols

- Support in the inspection and troubleshooting of electrical systems

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and climb poles

- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus but not required

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
