Infor is looking to hire a Sr. Director of Corporate Development to continue in shaping Infor’s future by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. You will be responsible for directly supporting Infor's executive leadership in driving inorganic growth and strategic portfolio optimization. As the Sr. Director of Corporate Development, you will be a key driver of Infor's growth strategy, owning the end-to-end M&A process from pipeline development to deal completion and initial integration support. You will serve as a critical thought partner to Infor leadership, evaluating opportunities that align with our focus on cloud-based, industry-specific solutions and platform expansion. This is a hands-on role where you will navigate complex situations, influence outcomes, and gain broad exposure across the business.
A Day In the Life Typically Looks Like:
Collaborate closely with Infor's executive leadership and strategy teams to define, refine, and prioritize M&A focus areas aligned with strategic objectives.
Proactively identify and research potential targets, developing compelling investment theses
Establish and manage a systematic pipeline review process to ensure a consistent flow of potential opportunities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential target companies, investment banks, and private equity firms to facilitate deal flow.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and value chain dynamics to translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations for leadership.
Lead and navigate cross-functional teams through all phases of the M&A process.
Conduct rigorous analysis of acquisition opportunities, developing clear, concise, and insightful investment evaluations.
Lead the development of robust financial models and business cases to assess economic returns and valuation
Coordinate and lead comprehensive due diligence efforts with internal subject matter experts.
Facilitate deal review discussions and secure approvals from Infor and Koch senior management.
Serve as the primary point of contact and lead negotiator with sellers and target companies throughout the transaction process.
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience leading M&A transactions from conception to completion.
Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate M&A
Prior experience managing M&A pipelines.
Financial analysis skills, including valuation methodologies, economic thinking, and investment decision-making frameworks.
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively to achieve deal objectives in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within or closely with software companies, particularly those focused on cloud solutions.
