St. Anthony Community Care Center, soon to be John A. Stassi II Community Care Center, will be the Greater New Orleans area’s newest skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, and we are looking to grow our team. Designed for person-centered care, John A. Stassi II Community Care Center will be the first of its kind in the area and will provide care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting. 

We are seeking the right candidate for the position of Administrator in Training (AIT).  In this vital role, you will ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team to provide exceptional leadership and support.


Primary Job Duties
·    Assist the administrator in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing facility. 
·    Will work with multiple members of the interdisciplinary teams (i.e. nursing, dietary, therapy, social services, activities, account manager, human resources, environmental services) to meet quality benchmarks
·    Will assist in responding to resident and family concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
·    Will work with various teams to address business objectives, financial performance, and marketing strategies 
·    Will assist in staff recruitment, on-boarding, and training, as well as work with interdisciplinary team to ensure current employee satisfaction 
·    Successful completion of this 6-month training program will prepare the individual for the state exam with the Louisiana Board of Nursing Facility Administrators 

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

·     .    College degree 
·    1 year of Long-Term Care experience in Skilled Nursing facility is preferred but not required
·    Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office
·    Good problem-solving skills.
·    Superior oral and written communication skills
·    Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present to group meetings
·    Ability to evaluate, analyze, and processes data to determine effectiveness and cost benefit of efforts.
·    Basic understanding of medical terminology can be helpful. 
·    Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
