AG|CM compensates our employees based on their experience, skills, and knowledge. Salary commensurate with the experience level of the finalist candidate. If you have experience levels above the minimum required for the position, there will be serious discussion about compensation higher than the starting pay level stated.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will assist the Project Manager as the Owner's Representative in overseeing the field execution and completion of assigned projects. The APM will assist in managing the owner's scope, schedule, and budget for the project. The APM will ensure contractors' compliance with design drawings and specifications. The Assistant Project Manager will coordinate and interact with Architect, Engineer(s), and Contractor(s) and will develop and maintain project reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in the Construction field, i.e., vertical construction, construction codes, QA/QC practices, scheduling, project controls, and construction coordination
- Understanding the aspects of each stage of the Design and Construction process
- Has knowledge of construction terminology, practices, methods, techniques, sequences, materials, equipment, scheduling and estimating.
- General knowledge of utilities and horizontal construction
- Computer skills and knowledge with the following systems: MS Office Suite, MS Windows. Experience with Procore a plus.
- Strong and effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Experience with business and technical writing.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive and positive attitude
EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree or experience equivalent to Bachelor's Degree
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current, valid Texas Driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree: college degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering or another relevant field
- Experience in working for entity specifically hired as owner's representative on commercial construction projects is highly desirable.
