Summary
In this role, you will support day-to-day logistics and operations activities for our EU warehouses. As we don’t have a local warehouse in Switzerland, this will be an admin role. You’ll help coordinate shipments, keep information and documents organized, and make sure tasks are followed through on time.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-organized person who enjoys working in a structured way and communicating with different departments. A background in office administration or a clerk role is helpful. The role is based in our office in Hünenberg (ZG) and requires a 4-day in office presence.
Logistics / Operations
- Manage shared email inbox incl. prioritization of tasks and delegating them accordingly
- Execute outbound product transfers to Specialized EU warehouses and to worldwide locations
- Execute inbound product transfers from Specialized USA locations to Europe
- Communicate shipping instructions, including documentation, to external vendors
- Request and forward shipping documents where needed and file documents accordingly
- Act as backup for various tasks when needed, be a team player
Costing
- Fluency with numbers to support data maintenance in Oracle (e.g., check entries for completeness and flag issues)
- Assist with cost/price updates
- Maintain price lists and internal customer master data
What You’ll Need To Win
- Completed commercial education or comparable training; experience in logistics, operations, office administration, or a clerk role is a plus
- Strong self-organization skills: you can prioritize, keep track of open tasks, and follow processes reliably
- Service mindset and willingness to support internal stakeholders with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Reliable and proactive working style, with the ability to stay calm and keep an overview during busy periods
- Good communication skills in English; additional German is a plus.
- Computer literacy and confident MS Office user (Outlook, Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or SAP) is a plus, training can be provided
