POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing various food items per recipes and maintaining clean and safe procedures and work areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:
- Perform pre-opening and on-going back line, hot box, and buffet checks.
- Work on the line or buffet.
- Coordinate line or buffet preparation and production.
- Meet with Sous Chef daily to review special events and plan prep and production for the day.
- Perform opening and closing procedures ensuring clean, organized, and safe food handling areas and procedures.
- Coordinate and perform all pre-shift prep, set-up, restocking of cooler, and properly rotating food items.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
