Job Summary
Nurse Aides in long term care play a vital role on the team- they provide hands-on assistance for our residents, including walking/mobility, dressing, bathing, eating, and using the bathroom. They develop close bonds with our residents and families and have the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of many people. Nurse Aides work very closely with our nursing and medical teams as they are often the first to notice changes in conditions in our residents.
Education and Experience Requirements
NATCEP certification required.
High School Diploma or GED and basic computer skills required
Excellent customer service and communication skills require
Ability to effectively multi-task and remain calm under pressure required
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning, and pushing
