MISSION


In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization



 



  • The battery pack process expert is responsible to creation internal standard:  GPS, PFMEA, Critipar, standard, and process unchangeable..

  • He/she participates all the phase of project development as a process design expert, include laser welding, potting, gluing , EOL test etc…

  • He/she has to follow company safety procedure and always wear required PPE during work in company.


 



Responsibilities & Activities


Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities




  • Benchmark:  Battery line process control for technical expertise and best practice from Chinese battery pack line players ( cell makers, New Energy OEM)

  • Creation :   GPS/ PFMEA/Critipar standard  / Process Unchangeable ( eg: laser welding, potting; gluing; EOL test etc.) / process setup guide line … etc.

  • Pilot process development and setup.

  • Work current project DFM&A, ensure product design is no blocking points for manufacturing and pack line development…

  • Family with process parameter DOE, to find best process parameter for key process, eg: laser welding , potting, gluing, EOL test etc…

  • Involve new battery pack project quotation and potential development requirements ;

  • Support the machinery project risk and issues regularly review and tracking with suppliers from machine kick off until FAT.

  • According to the requirement of project schedule, smoothly launch new process in the battery line. Provide technical support to ensure stable process for mass production.

  • Formalize and integrate the know-how and the experience , Lessons learned and MDCS.

  • Working on the quality improvement on project.

  • Assess supplier performance in terms of technical execution and project management.

  • Provide support to factories from technical side in the event of poor performance(OEE/PPM issues).

  • Carry out debugging and process improvement actions on request.

  • Conduct training for factories on the use of new processes

  • Other things assigned by line manager.

  • Development hours with in budget;

  • LTA/WLTA=0, safety accident, TSV within target, machine conformity audit no block point after SOP;

  • All new machine INERGO simulation done and score no more than 4;

  • Follow corporate standard and support new technical implement;

  • New project GR/QPR review no red or block points from machine development;

  • Catch three “0”:  zero accident, zero customer claim, zero delay.


 



 


 
















 



PROFILE REQUIREMENTS



 


Personal Background



  • Bachelor major in Mechanical Design or Automatism & Electrical.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience for battery process design for module/pack battery line.


 


Job Technical skills



  • Mastery of mechanical & machine design.

  • Mastery knowledge of for module/pack production process, and process critical control

  • Knowledge of Ergonomics, lean manufacturing principles. Understanding of process capability


parameters.



  • Mastery of laser welding & potting, gluing, electric test experience.

Job Soft skills
