Responsibilities:

The Industry Sales Leader will be responsible for driving sales and business growth across the Industry Sectors in China. This role will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, setting annual sales quotas and forecasting sales volume and profit for both existing and new products. The individual will ensure the team meets or exceeds defined sales and gross margin targets by expanding MSA’s market reach through effective key account management and broadening customer coverage. Responsible for over $35M Sales Target. 

 

This position requires close collaboration with the Distribution Development Team to implement the Go-to-Market strategy, utilizing both pull and push approaches to maximize sales performance. The Industry Sales Leader will lead, mentor, and manage a team of five regional sales managers, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 



Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within the industrial or safety sectors. 
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing sales teams across multiple regions.
  •  Strong background in key account management, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a sales team, preferably with experience overseeing regional managers. 
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a geographically diverse team to achieve set sales goals and objectives. 
  • Strong change management skills, with experience in restructuring or transforming teams to drive performance improvements. 
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, setting sales objectives, and forecasting sales volume and profit. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, OPEX) to ensure alignment and drive overall business objectives. 
  • Experience in executing Go-to-Market strategies, working closely with distribution and channel partners. 
  • Ability to analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales strategies. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in English and Mandarin, to work effectively within a global company. 
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales performance tools to track and manage results. 
  • Bachelor degree with electronics, mechanical, chemical or other technical or commerce majors or MBA
