Job Description

Position:                       Maintenance Technician

Experience Level:                 3 to 5 years

Employment Type:               Full Time (40 hours per week + Overtime potential)

Pay Range:                            $24 to $30 per hour

Work style and Benefits:

  • Standard production schedule is first shift only, Monday through Thursday (four 10-hour days) with overtime potential. 3-day weekend most weeks (production dependent)
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times base wage rate

Experience, qualifications, and what will make you thrive at RTID:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Maintenance certifications and/or Associate Degree in Maintenance preferred
  • 2 to 5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Mechanically inclined and capable of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of schematics, wiring and piping diagrams
  • Able to work in team-centered and individual contributor roles seamlessly
  • Adept at and enjoy problem solving
  • Self-motivated, dependable and goal driven – can do and will do attitude
  • Attentive to detail, precise, and strive to perform at your best in everything you do
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with manual work, hand tools, and workshop safety
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with management, co-workers, and outside vendors
  • Possess functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and decimals to perform basic math calculations and measurement computing using tape measure and/or micrometers
  • Ability to perform basic computer skills
