Brightway Insurance is hiring a Full-Time Designated Agency Principal in High Point, NC

We are looking for an ambitious, growth-minded individual to join our independent Brightway Insurance agency as a Designated Agency Principal . This role is designed for someone who wants to learn all aspects of the insurance business�sales, operations, carrier contracting, client relationships, and business management�with the potential to eventually open their own agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and revenue growth by generating leads (referrals, networking, digital channels), following up consistently, and building strong client relationships.
  • Sell personal lines of insurance
  • Consult with prospective and existing clients to assess risk, recommend appropriate coverage, and manage renewals to ensure retention.
  • Manage and streamline office operations, including scheduling, front-desk workflow, and maintaining accurate data and documentation in agency systems (AMS/CRM).
  • Oversee policy processing: endorsements, renewals, cancellations, billing, and follow-ups on delinquent accounts.
  • Maintain carrier and market knowledge: stay updated on underwriting guidelines, product lines, and new carrier opportunities.
  • Support agency growth and branding initiatives: contribute to marketing, community engagement, and strategic planning under leadership mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Possess an active North Carolina Property and Casualty insurance license or be willing to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, good at multitasking and managing workflows
  • Comfortable learning and using technology/tools relevant to insurance quoting, CRM, sales tracking
  • Entrepreneurial drive: motivated to grow the business and take ownership mindset
  • High standard of integrity and a focus on client satisfaction
  • Self-starter, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
