Job Description

Title: SharePoint Developer (Junior)

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):




  • Design & Develop Power Platform Solutions: Build enterprise level process automation, workflows, reports, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Office 365 + SharePoint Application Development: Design, implement, and enhance applications and components within SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  • Power Apps Foundations: Create custom apps leveraging connectors, forms, data sources, and flows; integrate with SharePoint lists/libraries and other M365 services.

  • Business Requirements Translation: Partner with functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure Power Platform and SharePoint solutions; document configurations and designs.

  • Permissions & Governance: Apply a thorough understanding of permission groups (M365, SharePoint, Distribution, etc.) to implement role based access and enforce governance best practices.

  • Data Preparation & Modeling: Prepare, explore, and model data; organize datasets for reporting and analytics; implement row level security and protect data sensitivity.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Build interactive Power BI reports and dashboards; convey insights clearly to support storytelling and informed decision making.

  • Quality & Security: Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning; adhere to NAVSEA and organizational security standards and documentation practices.

  • Collaboration & Support: Provide user training, release notes, and light support; participate in sprint ceremonies and maintain backlog items as needed.
